Latest Creations

Below are some of my latest creations. Hope you enjoy looking at them.

The card below was one of the Christmas Stamp A Stack cards, I showed my ladies today. I was fortunate enough to borrow this stamp set from my lovely friend – Michelle. The two stamp sets shown in the card below, are from our current Spring Mini – which ends on 30 November.

Cardstock: Really Rust, Creamy Caramel, Always Artichoke & Whisper White

Ink: Always Artichoke & Really Rust

Stamp sets: Season’s Surfin’ & Lazy Days

Other: Versamark, Gold Encore Ink, Gold Embossing Powder, Ruby Red Marker & Crystal Effects

Another Christmas Stamp A Stack card – which was very easy for the ladies to complete.

Cardstock: Kraft, Not Quite Navy & Very Vanilla

Stamp Set: Many Merry Messages

Ink: Not Quite Navy, Pacific Point & Silver Encore Ink

Other: 1 3/8″ Square Punch, 1 1/4″ Square Punch & Not Quite Navy Grosgrain Ribbon

The above card & a couple of the following cards – were made to sell at my recent Girl’s Fun Day Out. I found the design on Vanessa Webb’s blog & thought I would give them a go. My husband wanted to know, if I had to model for it. lol! If so, they would have turned out a completely different shape. ROFLOL!

They are kind of kinky & raunchy aren’t they? What do you think?

Cardstock: Blush Blossom

Other: Raspberry Tart DSP, Crimper, Filigree Designer Brads, Eyelet Border Punch & Flower Assortment Designer Brads

Cardstock: Blush Blossom

Other: Pink Flamingo DSP, Filigree Designer Brad, Eyelet Border Punch, Flower Assortment Designer Brad & Crimper

Thanks for looking!

Why Is It So?

Why is it, that we traditionally make Christmas Cards using Red & Green cardstock, ink & embellishments?

Is because we use Red to represent Santa’s suit? Green to represent Christmas Trees?

I was wondering this, while I was preparing for my upcoming Christmas Stamp A Stack classes next week.

Anyway, my ladies are in for a treat – because we won’t be using any Red, but just a touch of Green, in their cards next week.

I wonder what they will think?

Results of my Girl’s Fun Day Out Fundraiser

It was a HOT STEAMY day in Melbourne yesterday – but we were lucky enough to have 35 people walk through our door.

The total amount raised for the Cancer Council was: (drum roll please)

$473.00

The raffle was the biggest success with about 30+ prizes to choose from – 12 of which were Stampin’ Up!® bundles.

I rang Stampin’ Up!®  this morning & told them my fantastic news. I also advised them that Stampin’ Up!® were the only direct selling company to DONATE products for our raffle.

Thank You to my lovely customers & friends who came along to support this worthy cause.

To end on a fabulous note:

STAMPIN’ UP!® ROCK!

Enjoy your day!

My Regional Swap!

Hello Everybody!

Almost a couple of weeks ago, I attended a Stampin’ Up!® Regional Event in Melbourne. It was held at the luxurious Crown Promenade Hotel & I also took along two very eager & excited guests – Leanne & Sheridan.

It is tradition, amongst the Demonstrators, to give each other Swaps. A swap is generally a card-front or little idea using our huge array of stamping products. There is no minimum or maximum to the number of Swaps you make – I only had time to make 20 swaps to give away. So I came home with 20 different Swaps from other Demonstrators or Guests.

Below is my Swap. It isn’t a card-front – it’s a bookmark.

Bookmark - Oct 09

Cardstock: Whisper White & Kiwi Kiss

Stamp set: Eastern Blooms

Ink: Kiwi Kiss & Riding Hood Red

Other: Clear Embossing Powder, Clear Rhinestone Brad, Riding Hood Red Grosgrain Ribbon, Eyelet Border Punch & Bella Rose DSP

I’ll pop back later in the week & upload the photos of the Swaps I received – they all so lovely!

UStamp – Me Stamp, We All Stamp!

I’ve recently signed up to be part of the UStamp Holiday 09 projects. See my sidebar for the “blinkie” – cute hey?

Each day we are provided with different projects to complete (if you want or in my case, having time). Some of the projects have included: a Christmas Ornament, a Christmas Album, a Christmas Cake Box, Tag Tote, cards & matching boxes, etc.

So far, I have only completed one project – the Christmas Cake Box.

The one thing you will probably notice, is my Holly Leaves – yes, I know they are meant to be green, but these ones are just a little different. lol!

I made the holly leaves by using the large oval punch & then using the 1/2″ circle punch to make the indentations. Cute aren’t they?

Thanks for stopping by!

My Baby Girl has turned 1 years old!

How time flies when you’re having fun! She has given us much JOY over the past year – watching her GROW, her MANNERISM, her beautiful BIG brown eyes, her PLAYFULNESS, her UNIQUE noises, her howling at night, her “eating everything to shreds”, her naughtiness, her SLOPPY licks, her CUDDLES, her JUMPING, but most of all her LOVE.

No, I’m not talking about my human daughter – coz I don’t have one. I’m talking about our beautiful Spanador!

Josie

She must have been about 11 weeks in the above photo.

Look at her now…

HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY JOSIE!

Not sure if she liked wearing the Party Hat, but she looked very cute. She also enjoyed a couple of new toys, we sang Happy Birthday to her & she had a tiny bit of Chocolate Mud Cake, which she scoffed down in no time.

I feel very honoured to receive this Award from Tanya Kitto - she is an amazing Australian Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator from Western Australia – who I consider a lovely (but far, far away) friend! Hopefully I’ll get to meet her one day “in the flesh“.
