Mojo Monday 122

Hello & Welcome to my Blog!

Below is my Mojo Monday card – I ‘ved used colours I wouldn’t normally use. But I love the way they work well together.

The flower design isn’t actually a stamp – it’s a sheet of Designer Series Paper & I’ve just trimmed it to suit. Quite effective, don’t you think?

Cardstock: Whisper White & Basic Black

Stamp Sets: Inspired By Nature & Butterfly Prints

Ink: Basic Black

Other: Urban Oasis DSP, White Gel Pen, Basic Black Grosgrain Ribbon, Scallop Oval Punch, Oval Punch, 1 3/4″ Circle Punch, Butterfly Punch & Gold Brads

I really enjoyed making this easy card – hope you enjoyed looking at it.

Thanks for passing through!

Happy 2nd SU! Anniversary To Me!

Hip! Hip! Hooray!

I can’t believe it’s been 2 years ago, that I first joined Stampin’ Up!®. I love Stampin’ Up! products so much & the company is fantastic – everybody is always very helpful.

I have met so many wonderful people over the past 2 years – including Demonstrators & Hostesses – many of whom have become very good friends.

With the Sale-A-Bration Promotion fast approaching (starting 25 January) – it is a great time to consider joining Stampin’ Up! too.

The Starter Kit is $324 – but it is full of fantastic SU! product (which of course, we all love). The Starter Kit is worth over $560 – so you are definitely getting a bargain.

Also if you do join SU! during the SAB promotion – you get to choose a stamp set to the value of $79.95 FREE! How cool is that?

If you want further information, just send me an email – ozzimum@hotmail.com & I would be happy to assist you with any questions, you may have.

Anyway, I’m off to party & celebrate my 2nd Anniversary! Woohoo!

Enjoy your day!

Mojo Monday 120

I recently advised my customers that I would be taking a break from cardmaking, during the January school holidays, but as you can see, I just couldn’t resist trying this week’s Mojo Monday design.

I used the Pink Flamingo DSP – honestly, I’m not a huge fan of this paper, but had a few lonely sheets lying around – so thought I would put them to good use.

Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, Whisper White & Tempting Turquoise

Stamp set: Eastern Blooms

Ink: Versamark

Other: Pink Flamingo DSP, Scallop Edge Punch, Hemp Twine, 3/4″ Polka-Dot Grosgrain Ribbon (Summer Mini) & Playground Designer Buttons (Summer Mini)

What do you think of the paper flower? Cute hey?

One the perks of being a Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator, is that we receive a monthly Impressions magazine & it shows us many new techniques to be used on cards or scrapbook pages or gift ideas.

Watch This Space! As I’ll be announcing class dates, to show how to make many different styles of Paper Flowers.

Stay Tuned!

Naughty, but Nice………now!

I have been VERY naughty for not blogging in so long. But like almost everybody else, have a particular celebration almost upon us & need to prepare for it. That not only means writing up Christmas Cards, preparing food for the hungry guests or buying the RIGHT present – I’ve made most of my Christmas Cards, but I’ve also put together 4 special gifts for family members. (This is the NICE side – actually VERY nice side)

My elderly aunt is very difficult to buy for (she has everything……well almost) & I can’t possibly buy her another calendar – because then she’ll know what she’ll be getting year-after-year. My Mother-in-law is also difficult to buy for.  My DH doesn’t help, because he has no idea either.

So this year, I have decided to make them Special Gifts – a little bag consisting of 10 hand-made cards. No greetings on the cards – so the cards can be used for any occasion.

My sisters will also be receiving the same gift. I know the cards will be used (or at least I hope so) – as we always need a “last minute” card for something – don’t we?

Below are some of the cards I have made – hope you like them, as much as I enjoyed making them.

These cards are basically the same, just angled the squares differently.

Cardstock: Whisper White, Kiwi Kiss & Pacific Point

Stamp Set: Pocket Silhouettes

Ink: Kiwi Kiss & Pacific Point

Other: Scallop Square Punch, Earth Element Brads & Kiwi Kiss/Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon

Cardstock: Whisper White & Pumpkin Pie

Stamp sets: Best Yet & Inspired by Nature

Ink: Pumpkin Pie

Other: Earth Element Brads, Scallop Oval Punch, Large Oval Punch, Washington Apple DSP & Earth Element Markers
