I have been VERY naughty for not blogging in so long. But like almost everybody else, have a particular celebration almost upon us & need to prepare for it. That not only means writing up Christmas Cards, preparing food for the hungry guests or buying the RIGHT present – I’ve made most of my Christmas Cards, but I’ve also put together 4 special gifts for family members. (This is the NICE side – actually VERY nice side)

My elderly aunt is very difficult to buy for (she has everything……well almost) & I can’t possibly buy her another calendar – because then she’ll know what she’ll be getting year-after-year. My Mother-in-law is also difficult to buy for.  My DH doesn’t help, because he has no idea either.

So this year, I have decided to make them Special Gifts – a little bag consisting of 10 hand-made cards. No greetings on the cards – so the cards can be used for any occasion.

My sisters will also be receiving the same gift. I know the cards will be used (or at least I hope so) – as we always need a “last minute” card for something – don’t we?

Below are some of the cards I have made – hope you like them, as much as I enjoyed making them.

Sorry to all – who regularly visit my Blog, for being very slack in the blogging game.

Life has been busy (not only for me, but everybody) – with Christmas just around the corner. Wow, it certainly has crept up this year.

Currently I have one son on school holidays already (too soon in my opinion) & another son still at school. So getting to do what I love, has definitely taken a backseat. I’ve also been busy making & writing out Christmas Cards.

Apart from that – also been making some cards for my Aunt, Sisters & Mother-in-law to use during the coming year – these will be their Christmas gifts. Phew!

So hopefully, over the next couple of days – I will be able to upload, some of the photos of the cards, I have been making.

Do you LOVE Blog Surfin’? I know I do. I spend way too much time checking out fantastic creations by many talented Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators, both here in Australia, New Zealand & overseas.

Well tomorrow – the Inaugural ESAD Blog Hop commences. ESAD is a Yahoo Group I’m priviledged to be part of – it’s a lovely community of Australian & New Zealand Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators, where ideas are shared, cyber “events” are conducted, workshop & class guidance given & lots more. ESAD means Extremely Special Australian (& New Zealand) Demonstrators.

Well tomorrow - 30 members from this fab group are conducting a Blog Hop. The Blog Hop is to showcase products from our new Summer Mini – which starts tomorrow.

My husband wanted to know, if I had to model for it. lol! If so, they would have turned out a completely different shape. ROFLOL!

They are kind of kinky & raunchy aren’t they? What do you think?

Why is it, that we traditionally make Christmas Cards using Red & Green cardstock, ink & embellishments?

Is because we use Red to represent Santa’s suit? Green to represent Christmas Trees?

I was wondering this, while I was preparing for my upcoming Christmas Stamp A Stack classes next week.

Anyway, my ladies are in for a treat – because we won’t be using any Red, but just a touch of Green, in their cards next week.

I wonder what they will think?

It was a HOT STEAMY day in Melbourne yesterday – but we were lucky enough to have 35 people walk through our door.

The total amount raised for the Cancer Council was: (drum roll please)

$473.00

The raffle was the biggest success with about 30+ prizes to choose from – 12 of which were Stampin’ Up!® bundles.

I rang Stampin’ Up!®  this morning & told them my fantastic news. I also advised them that Stampin’ Up!® were the only direct selling company to DONATE products for our raffle.

Thank You to my lovely customers & friends who came along to support this worthy cause.
