It’s been one month since my last post & my sins are…………

lol!

Actually I have been very sick over the past month. I think I can wipe February 2009 off my calendar, as it didn’t exist to me.

Early February, I was diagnosed as having Bronchitis & Pneunomia – was put on heavy antibiotics & they seemed to work.

That was until my left leg decided to give me horrible pains in my calf area. It felt very solid & I was unable to walk on it, due to the “killer” pains. Stupid me, left it a few days – hoping the pain would ease in my leg. Until my Darling Husband, decided to take a day off work & take me to the Emergency Section of the local Hospital.

I had an ultrasound & a CT scan (which is really weird & a strange sensation) – has anybody ever had one before? The ultrasound showed I had a blood clot or Deep Vein Thrombosis in the groin area & it had travelled to my lung also.

I was admitted to Hospital that same afternoon. Total bed rest, could not even walk to the toilet which was 5 steps away. I actually got my way, in the end (pardon the pun) & refused to use those horrible bed pans & was granted bathroom privileges. Phew!

I am now at home – having regular blood tests & am trying to rest or take it easy. lol!

I am now in the process of doing some more “serious” stamping. Over the past month, I haven’t been “in the mood” to even touch a stamp. I must have been really sick – what do you think?

Hope you are all well!
