Special cards for Special People!

A couple of milestones have happened in some special people’s lives recently & I made a couple of cards to remember the occasions by.

Firstly my gorgeous friend Mandy (& her hubby John) celebrated their 25th Wedding Anniversary – actually back in January. I caught up with Mandy about 3-4 weeks ago to give her the card & a lovely plant.

Cardstock: Rich Razzleberry, Brushed Silver & Shimmery White

Stamp set: None

Ink: Silver Encore (retired)

Other: Big Shot (BS) Polka Dot Embossing Folder, On Board Alphabet Soup (Chipboard), Timeless Type Junior Alphabet, Large Heart Punch, 1 1/4″ Striped Grosgrain Ribbon (Rich Razzleberry), Antique Brads & Crystal Effects

The next Special Card was given to Coral – she recently became a Grandmother for the 3rd time, but this time she is the Proud Nanna for a precious little Girl – Olivia Joy! I had seen quite a few of these cards around, so I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to try one for myself.

It’s called an Onesie – found the very easy instructions here – http://laurenm.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/2008/02/05/create-your-own-onesie-card-tutorial-and-important-note-please-read/

Again I used some retired product.

Cardstock: Orchid Opulence  (retired) & Whisper White

Stamp Set: Punch Bunch (SAB 2011)

Ink: Rich Razzleberry

Other: Scallop Circle Punch, Ice Rhinestone Brads, 1 3/8″ Circle PunchTag Punch, Crimper & Garden Wall DSP (retired).

It was so much fun to make & it was accepted with lots of happiness & proudly shown off to friends.

Maybe I’ll pop back tomorrow with more creations!
