Autumn Tradtions Displays

Below are a close-up photo of each of the cards, I had made for the Craft & Quilt Fair recently.

This card I only used one stamp set & the leaves were cut out from the DSP. The ribbon is originally white, but I coloured it to match the DSP, by using the Ruby Red marker.

Cardstock: Elegant Eggplant & Whisper White

Stamp Set: Sincere Salutations

Ink: Ruby Red

Other: Autumn Traditions DSP, White Taffeta ribbon – coloured with Ruby Red Marker, Hemp Twine, 3/4″ Circle Punch, Scallop Oval Punch & Large Oval Punch

Love both of these Stamp Sets – unfortunately they are being retired, due to being Level 1 Hostess Stamp Sets. This card has used the “One Sheet Wonder” technique, whereby you stamp all over the cardstock, in any direction, then cut it up into rectangles. Very classy & easy!

Cardstock: More Mustard & Whisper White

Stamp Set: Organic Grace & Best Yet (both level 1 Hostess Stamp Sets) – both only available until 31 August 2010.

Ink: More Mustard, Always Artichoke, Elegant Eggplant & Ruby Red

Other: Autumn Traditions DSP, Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/8″ Circle Punch & 1 1/4″ Circle Punch

I love this stamp set – Eastern Blooms – especially great to use with our Markers.

Cardstock: Always Artichoke, Whisper White & Ruby Red

Stamp Sets: Eastern Blooms & Wonderful Favourites

Ink: Elegant Epplant

Other: Autumn Traditions DSP, Corner Rounder, Earth Element Brads, Filigree Flower Brad, Circle Rhinestone Brad, Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/8″ Circle Punch, 1 1/4″ Circle Punch, Markers:- Elegant Eggplant, More Mustard, Always Artichoke & Ruby Red

Cardstock: Ruby Red & Whisper White

Stamp Set: Fifth Avenue Floral

Ink: Ruby Red, Soft Suede, Always Artichoke

Other: Autumn Traditions DSP, Black Grosgrain Ribbon, Eyelet Border Punch

A bit of a different style Christmas card, rather than the usual Santa theme.

Cardstock: Always Artichoke & Whisper White

Stamp Sets: Medallion BG & Many Merry Messages (wouldn’t want to say that 5 times fast. lol!)

Ink: Always Artichoke & More Mustard

Other: Corner Rounder, Scallop Edge Punch, 1 3/4″ Circle Punch, 3/4″ Circle Punch, Rhinestone Brad

More photos on the next post.

Autumn Traditions Display Poster

At the recent Craft & Quilt Fair, each Demonstrator had to provide a Display Poster showing various card designs displaying a particular theme.

I chose the Autumn Traditions DSP (currently in the Autumn-Winter Mini – valid until 31 August) – I love the colours in this Designer Series Paper pack – so many to choose from.

Here is my poster – full of my creations:

When I receive my poster back, I’ll upload the card separately, so then you can have a better look at them.

Thanks for popping in!

Flower Fantasy!

In the current Australian/NZ Autumn-Winter Mini are Printed Window Sheets. As I LOVED the design of the Cottage Wall DSP (which is also available in the Autumn-Winter Mini), I automatically knew I HAD TO HAVE the Printed Window Sheets……….but my question was “How do I use it?” “What do I do with it, now that I have it?”.

So I decided to make a card – it’s based on an Acetate card design. I am really pleased at the way it turned out.

Cardstock: Rich Razzleberry (what else?), Orchid Opulence, Whisper White & Old Olive

Stamp Sets: Wonderful Favourites & Eastern Blooms

Ink: Rich Razzleberry & Orchid Opulence

Other: Flower Fantasy Printed Window Sheet, Rich Razzleberry Polka-Dot Ribbon, Sticky Cuts (Sweet) & Fine Supernova Glitter

Thanks for popping in!

I recently attended “Unconvention”

“Unconvention” is for the Australian & NZ Demonstrators who could not attend this year’s Convention in Sydney, which was on over the weekend.

Most of us are part of a special group of Demonstrators – called ESAD (Extra Special Australian {New Zeland} Demonstrators).

Some Demonstrators gave us Challenges to achieve over the weekend – to help our momentum going & trying something new.

Below are some of the projects I made:

1) Card & Envelope holder:

Cardstock: Taken with Teal & Summer Sun

Other: Bali Breeze DSP (retired), Eyelet Border Punch & Circle Designer Brad

2) Limited Supplies card – all we use was One Stamp Set, Two Stamp Pads & used on Very Vanilla or Whisper White cardstock

Cardstock: Whisper White

Stamp Set: Tiny Tags (Autumn-Winter Mini)

Inks: Rich Razzleberry & Soft Suede

3) “Z” Fold Card:

Cardstock: Baja Breeze

Other: Not Quite Navy Grosgrain Ribbon & Urban Garden DSP

I didn’t use any stamp sets on this card, all I did was cut out a couple of flowers from the DSP & stuck them on.

Thanks for popping past!
