Autumn Tradtions Displays

Below are a close-up photo of each of the cards, I had made for the Craft & Quilt Fair recently.

This card I only used one stamp set & the leaves were cut out from the DSP. The ribbon is originally white, but I coloured it to match the DSP, by using the Ruby Red marker.

Cardstock: Elegant Eggplant & Whisper White

Stamp Set: Sincere Salutations

Ink: Ruby Red

Other: Autumn Traditions DSP, White Taffeta ribbon – coloured with Ruby Red Marker, Hemp Twine, 3/4″ Circle Punch, Scallop Oval Punch & Large Oval Punch

Love both of these Stamp Sets – unfortunately they are being retired, due to being Level 1 Hostess Stamp Sets. This card has used the “One Sheet Wonder” technique, whereby you stamp all over the cardstock, in any direction, then cut it up into rectangles. Very classy & easy!

Cardstock: More Mustard & Whisper White

Stamp Set: Organic Grace & Best Yet (both level 1 Hostess Stamp Sets) – both only available until 31 August 2010.

Ink: More Mustard, Always Artichoke, Elegant Eggplant & Ruby Red

Other: Autumn Traditions DSP, Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/8″ Circle Punch & 1 1/4″ Circle Punch

I love this stamp set – Eastern Blooms – especially great to use with our Markers.

Cardstock: Always Artichoke, Whisper White & Ruby Red

Stamp Sets: Eastern Blooms & Wonderful Favourites

Ink: Elegant Epplant

Other: Autumn Traditions DSP, Corner Rounder, Earth Element Brads, Filigree Flower Brad, Circle Rhinestone Brad, Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/8″ Circle Punch, 1 1/4″ Circle Punch, Markers:- Elegant Eggplant, More Mustard, Always Artichoke & Ruby Red

Cardstock: Ruby Red & Whisper White

Stamp Set: Fifth Avenue Floral

Ink: Ruby Red, Soft Suede, Always Artichoke

Other: Autumn Traditions DSP, Black Grosgrain Ribbon, Eyelet Border Punch

A bit of a different style Christmas card, rather than the usual Santa theme.

Cardstock: Always Artichoke & Whisper White

Stamp Sets: Medallion BG & Many Merry Messages (wouldn’t want to say that 5 times fast. lol!)

Ink: Always Artichoke & More Mustard

Other: Corner Rounder, Scallop Edge Punch, 1 3/4″ Circle Punch, 3/4″ Circle Punch, Rhinestone Brad

More photos on the next post.

Flower Fantasy!

In the current Australian/NZ Autumn-Winter Mini are Printed Window Sheets. As I LOVED the design of the Cottage Wall DSP (which is also available in the Autumn-Winter Mini), I automatically knew I HAD TO HAVE the Printed Window Sheets……….but my question was “How do I use it?” “What do I do with it, now that I have it?”.

So I decided to make a card – it’s based on an Acetate card design. I am really pleased at the way it turned out.

Cardstock: Rich Razzleberry (what else?), Orchid Opulence, Whisper White & Old Olive

Stamp Sets: Wonderful Favourites & Eastern Blooms

Ink: Rich Razzleberry & Orchid Opulence

Other: Flower Fantasy Printed Window Sheet, Rich Razzleberry Polka-Dot Ribbon, Sticky Cuts (Sweet) & Fine Supernova Glitter

Thanks for popping in!

Other: Bella Rose DSP, 1″ Chocolate Chip Double-Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon, Eyelet Border Punch &  Fine Supernova Glitter

Mojo Monday 120

I recently advised my customers that I would be taking a break from cardmaking, during the January school holidays, but as you can see, I just couldn’t resist trying this week’s Mojo Monday design.

I used the Pink Flamingo DSP – honestly, I’m not a huge fan of this paper, but had a few lonely sheets lying around – so thought I would put them to good use.

Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, Whisper White & Tempting Turquoise

Stamp set: Eastern Blooms

Ink: Versamark

Other: Pink Flamingo DSP, Scallop Edge Punch, Hemp Twine, 3/4″ Polka-Dot Grosgrain Ribbon (Summer Mini) & Playground Designer Buttons (Summer Mini)

What do you think of the paper flower? Cute hey?

One the perks of being a Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator, is that we receive a monthly Impressions magazine & it shows us many new techniques to be used on cards or scrapbook pages or gift ideas.

Watch This Space! As I’ll be announcing class dates, to show how to make many different styles of Paper Flowers.

Stay Tuned!

My Regional Swap!

Hello Everybody!

Almost a couple of weeks ago, I attended a Stampin’ Up!® Regional Event in Melbourne. It was held at the luxurious Crown Promenade Hotel & I also took along two very eager & excited guests – Leanne & Sheridan.

It is tradition, amongst the Demonstrators, to give each other Swaps. A swap is generally a card-front or little idea using our huge array of stamping products. There is no minimum or maximum to the number of Swaps you make – I only had time to make 20 swaps to give away. So I came home with 20 different Swaps from other Demonstrators or Guests.

Below is my Swap. It isn’t a card-front – it’s a bookmark.

Sympathy Card No. ?

I’ve lost count to the number of Sympathy Cards I’ve done this year – I’ve attended at least 3 funerals this year. Hopefully no more for a while yet.

This card was sent to a Special Friend, whose Step-Mother passed away – she was 93yo.
