My Customer’s Project

Yesterday, I held a class on making a Gift Bag with 5 matching cards & envelopes. Fantastic idea for a gift or even for yourself – then you have some cards handy to send out. My lovely customers loved the idea & thought it was very simple to make. I even had a brand new stamper (conned my walking buddy to join in) – I think she may be hooked.

Each of my customer’s were given a pack consisting of Designer Series Paper, Cardstock, Ribbon, Brads, Twine & Jumbo Eyelets – all co-ordinating colours.

Below is a photo of one of the outcomes. This customer generally doesn’t use bright colours – she is mainly an Old Olive or Earth Elements person, so I gave her something different to work with.

Cardstock: Tempting Turquoise, Summer Sun & Whisper White

Stamp Sets: Organic Grace (Level 1 Hostess), Butterfly Prints (Summer Mini), Priceless, Sincere Salutations & Fifth Avenue Floral (there are others, but I can’t quite see what she used)

Ink: Tempting Turquoise, Summer Sun & Yoyo Yellow

Other: Pink Flamingo DSP, Tempting Turquoise Grosgrain Ribbon, Corner Rounder, Circle Punches, Scallop Edge Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, Large Oval Punch, jumbo eyelets, brown paper bag (non-SU!) & Bold Bright Brads

I think she did an outstanding job – don’t you agree??

Mojo Monday 120

I recently advised my customers that I would be taking a break from cardmaking, during the January school holidays, but as you can see, I just couldn’t resist trying this week’s Mojo Monday design.

I used the Pink Flamingo DSP – honestly, I’m not a huge fan of this paper, but had a few lonely sheets lying around – so thought I would put them to good use.

Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, Whisper White & Tempting Turquoise

Stamp set: Eastern Blooms

Ink: Versamark

Other: Pink Flamingo DSP, Scallop Edge Punch, Hemp Twine, 3/4″ Polka-Dot Grosgrain Ribbon (Summer Mini) & Playground Designer Buttons (Summer Mini)

What do you think of the paper flower? Cute hey?

One the perks of being a Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator, is that we receive a monthly Impressions magazine & it shows us many new techniques to be used on cards or scrapbook pages or gift ideas.

Watch This Space! As I’ll be announcing class dates, to show how to make many different styles of Paper Flowers.

Stay Tuned!
