Just Add Ink 88 – Just Add a…….Die Cut

How appropriate I needed to create a Wedding Card for a lovely couple, who have been together for an amazing 25 years & finally “tied the knot” yesterday. Congrats Rachael & Steve!

This week’s Challenge at Just Add Ink was to create something using a Die Cut. Here is my lovely creation.

Cardstock: Early Espresso, Pear Pizzazz, Blushing Bride & Whisper White

Ink: Early Espresso

Stamp Set: Tiny Tags

Other: Tag Punch, Basic Pearls, Scallop Circle Die, Manhattan Flower Embossing Folder, Full Heart Punch, In-Colours (2010-2012) Patterned Paper Pack, Chiffon fabric (non-SU!)

The happy couple are away on their honeymoon, but this little card will be waiting for them in their mailbox upon their return.

Melbourne Regional Event – 13 November

Last Saturday, was Melbourne’s turn to have the annual Stampin’ Up!® Regional event. We had been waiting since late July, when we initially booked – November seemed to be ages away back then, but then it was upon us very quickly!

I was very very fortunate this year, to be able to take my 2 downline (Melissa & Liz) with me & I also took along a very good friend of mine – Mandy.

I made a little gift for Melissa, Liz & Mandy – my other very good friend – Michelle also got a gift too.

I was taught how to make these tag bags on UStamp last year – but instead of filling them with tags, I filled them with LOLLIES & my Regional Swap. I put their first initial on the front of the bag. So I could remember which “M” belonged to either Melissa, Mandy or Michelle – I used colours, which I knew they loved. Hey, it worked!

Colour combinations used were: Cherry Cobbler & Always Artichoke, Concord Crush & Silver Metallic, Daffodil Delight & Tempting Turquoise, Marina Mist & Crumb Cake.

I used the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder & Timeless Type Alphabet Junior Sizzlits.

The stamp set used was Tiny Tags. I used my crop-a-dile to make an big hole for my jumbo eyelets, then just threaded some co-ordinating ribbon to make a tie.

On the back of each Bag, was a little (actually large) note. You can’t see what’s written, as it’s on the other side. I hope each of them remembered to read it.

I used the Scallop Circle Die & Because I Care Stamp Set (Level 1 Hostess Set). I used the matching inks to co-ordinate with the bags.

I’m not very good at tying bows – maybe I need a lesson or two.

My Team, Friend & Sideline loved their gifties!

Thanks for visiting!
