Cuppa Tea?

Today I popped in to visit my downline – Melissa – to see how she was recovering after an overnight stay in hospital.

I wanted to give her a WOW pressie & this did just the trick – alot of work involved – but it did work!

This Paper Teapot is designed by Debbie D Dodd (Studio 3D), it was very fiddly to make, but so well worth seeing Melissa’s face light up, when I gave it to her. She thoroughly enjoys her regular cuppa tea!

I used the retired Parisian Breeze Specialty DSP & a rhinestone brad for the tip of the lid.

Also put a couple of tea bags in it to make it look more authentic!

Note to self: Never complete this task again – it definitely is a One Off for me!

Spring Mini Flowers

IMG_0703

I was asked recently by a Hostess, as to how to make the flowers in the new Spring Mini Catalogue.

Lucky for me, I had a template to follow. As it was just a “experiment” I used retired Designer Series Paper – Bali Breeze.

Alot of cutting was involved. But I was pretty pleased with the result of my “experimenting”.

Secret Sister – Ssssshhhhhh!

Hi Everybody – I’ve also been busy creating cards & gifts to my Secret Sister.

I can’t show you what I made – because it will spoil the surprize, just in case my SS visits my blog. Also I didn’t take photos of them either.

Secret Sister was arranged by an Australian Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator – we each received a Secret Sister – who we send cards & gifts to each month for 3 months. At the end of September, we will reveal our identity to our Secret Sister.

Below are the 2 gorgeous cards, I have received from my Secret Sister:
